Can It Be Possible?

Thanks to some consistent training, I am no longer a Clydesdale. I am below the 2 dollar mark!

Maybe I will be ready for the Spring Sprint after all.

SuperG Turns 6

SuperG had a birthday. She turned six years old.

When she got off the bus after kindergarten was over, she came into the house and she was pissed!

Mom: "What's Wrong?"
SuperG: "I turned six!"
Mom: "Why does that upset you."
SuperG: "I am still in Kindergarten."
Mom: "You have to stay in Kindergarten for the whole year."
SuperG: "But MOM!! I am six NOW."
Mom: "Next year you will be in first grade."
SuperG: "But MOM!! They MADE me go to Kindergarten again today."
Mom: "Do you need a time-out?"

Xterra Idaho

I have a piece of crap mountain bike and I am out of shape, so I decided to go WATCH my brother and Alan Newton race the Xterra.

I get a call from my brother:

G: "Alan needs a runner want to do it?"
Me: "I am fat. Only if he is desperate."
G: "OK"

Several minutes later, he called, but I strategically let voice mail get it.

G: "Alan needs a swimmer too. It is only 1k."

My private thought: "At least fat floats."

I guess I am doing an Xterra this weekend.

First Mobile Blog

I have finally made it into the 21st century and can blog while away
from my computer. Now if I only had something to say.....

Woman Registers 0.47

I took Pookie to the last one, but it scared her. This one looks good, but not as scary.

I had to remove the link the to Pirates of the Caribbean trailer....it was too big.

New Ride

I have yet another one of the Donimator's hand-me-downs. (We won't talk about the other one).

I haven't ridden it yet because my computrainer tire does not fit in that skinny little frame. Crap.

Big CDs

Pookie and Super-G were telling me about this thing they saw at a friend's house. It was a really big black CD. I am sure they were talking about audio records.

Man I am getting old. Our kids don't know what records are.

LASIK Day 4

Left eye is good, but the right eye is pretty blurry. I don't know yet if this is because it is healing slower or if the Doc just did not correct this eye enough. We will see.

LASIK

I am having Lasik eye surgery done in a few hours. The Xanex they gave me is working it's magic. I feel like I just downed four beers!

Swimmng will be a whole lot more fun now that I will be able to see.

Special Sauce

FarmGirl is reading a lot about Everest these days (I wonder if she is thinking about taking a trip).

Evidently the Sherpas don't think highly about couples doing the nasty while up on the mountain. They call it "Making Sauce".

BSU Wins The Fiesta Bowl

OK, I watch about three football games a year (I like sports that require two balls), but BSU is my adopted university and they have a great football team. This year they went 13-0 with a new coach and were "allowed" to play in the Fiesta Bowl even though they are not in a BCS conference.
They screwed their 28-10 lead and in the last two minutes were able to tie it up with the "hook and lateral" play to force overtime. They then made an incredible "Statue of Liberty" play for the two point conversion in overtime to win.

Intro

I thought I should start posting about the crazy stuff that goes on when you are trying to be a respectable triathlete AND raise over half of a basketball team worth of little chicks.

I am the lone testosterone based entity in my home. I co-habitate with FarmGirl, Pookie, Super-G and Little Izz. Things get interesting when I push them to step outside their circle of femdom. Like when I told Super-G that I am going over to a friends house to play a game.....she asked me if I was the princess!! They have no idea that games exist without princesses and BOYS DON'T PLAY THE PRINCESS....EVER! Unless you want to lose your man-card.

I ate the last of the Christmas cookies so now it is time to hit the trainer in order to get in shape for this year's triathlon season.
